Musalaha – A Vision of Reconciliation

Based in Jerusalem, Daniel serves as the Executive Director of Musalaha, an organization dedicated to teaching, facilitating, and training reconciliation between Palestinians and Israelis. Drawing on his Palestinian and Christian heritage, Daniel combines intellectual insights with practical skills to develop a decolonial and indigenous approach to reconciliation.

Before his time at Musalaha, he co-founded Lighthouse Relief on Lesvos Island, a humanitarian start-up addressing the refugee crisis in Greece. He also worked with the Danish Refugee Council and Nonviolent Peaceforce, responding to humanitarian crises in Greece and Iraq. Daniel is a reputable speaker and made history as the first Palestinian to personally address both the UN Security Council in New York and St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

Daniel holds an MBA from Durham University Business School in the UK. He also graduated from the Global Scholars Program at American University in Washington, D.C., where he studied International Relations and Religious Studies.
